Scottish inspired bridal crown and boutonniere

With spring just around the bend, I loved creating this custom Scottish thistle inspired bridal crown and groom's boutonniere set for an upcoming April wedding. Dusty soft pinks, lavender, blues and vibrant gold.

I wanted the bridal crown to appear as though it had been swept up from the moors of Scotland. Thistles, heather, lavender, budded pussywillow, moss, lichen, amaranth, pansies, strawflowers and peonies.

The boutonniere featured complimenting florals and greeneries as the bridal crown with the addition of taupe grouse feathers, which also roam the highlands of Scotland, and regal antique gold embroidery floss wrapping.
